Like it never happened.

Over a year ago I was at the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos when Hurricane Odile hit. The resort, (like all of Cabo), was damaged and like most properties, they took extra time to regroup and repair.

Every effort put into the resort was worth it as the this is just about as perfect as an All-Inclusive property could possibly strive to be.

The Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is back and even more beautiful, more manicured, more luxurious than before the hurricane.

My traveling companion (who was also there last year during the hurricane) and I agreed that this is perhaps one of the most visually stunning Secrets Resorts in Mexico. A seaside desert oasis bathed by non-stop sunshine and refreshing afternoon ocean breezes.

Sun drenched is the only word that comes to mind as the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is situated in such a way that is sees both the sunrise and sunset across its expansive and perfectly manicured landscapes.

I would recommend going any time of year as Cabo has lower humidity than other areas of Mexico, which is perfect for keeping your windows and doors open in the evening allowing for the ocean breezes take over from the air-conditioning.

Thank you to the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos for looking after us a year ago and for looking after us again last week. Each time I leave, I am officially departing and returning home at the same time.
