Umm, yes!
A little sporty and a little Cape Cod chic meets the Caribbean coast of Mexico, the Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort is all eco-cool.
I have been to most of the AM Resorts in Mexico and this is my review of what makes Playa Mujeres different and stand on it’s own.
The Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort is a special experience. The vibe is very lively yet there are plenty of places to seek out tranquility by the beach. The resort has also kept the sensitive ecological surroundings intact and is situated on an absolutely incredible stretch of white sand beach.
The area of Playa Mujeres is a new development to the Mexican Caribbean Riviera, located just 10 minutes north of Cancun (25 minutes from the airport) this area features unspoiled beaches that stretch for miles. A particular benefit of this location is that the Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa Resort has the protection of Isla Mujeres just off the coast. The island protects this pristine coastline from harsh waves and keeps the beaches calm and inviting.
If you are pool person, this is also your place as the resort features flowing and meandering pools that stretch for the length of the property and eventually lead to an incredible view of the ocean.
If you are looking for the ultimate luxury, why not book the Preferred Club Ocean Front 1 Bedroom Suites that feature their own private pool? This isn’t a plunge pool, this is a fully swimmable private pool with immediate beach access. Bird watching towers are located in between the resorts two main areas and they have kept this sensitive area intact.
A very lively pool area keeps the afternoons going well past dinner time and they have plenty of water sports like kayaking and sailing. They also have a golf course located right nearby and green fees are complimentary.
An Incredible spa: very Zen with an outdoor water therapy pool surrounded by lush greenery.
